Operational Delivery Manager (Rail Assets - Management - Maintenance)

Advantage Resourcing are recruiting for our major London based transport client for an Operational Delivery Manager with railway engineering background and experience of Asset Performance and Asset Management.

Working as a Delivery Manager you will coordinate the response to 3rd party projects from a maintenance concept, design and readiness perspective. This is to ensure that new assets delivered as part of the Croxley Rail Link and other 3rd Party projects have an optimum whole life asset management regime and cost and are delivered onto the operational railway seamlessly within operational impact.

Candidate experience:
*Knowledge of key principles of project management
*Knowledge of aspects of railway engineering and of Asset Performance's role in the asset life cycle.
*Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
*Good analytical sills and appraisal techniques.
*Experience of representing operations through the project life cycle and of working in a multi disciplinary team

Specific Duties:
*Ensure Whole Life Asset Management is optimised for any new assets introduced to the railway and all agreed end user requirements are delivered.
*Lead the operational direction and deliver into a set of project requirements and scope and that all the key activities are built into a project plan and agreed.
*Work with and influence stakeholders including suppliers to ensure business objectives are aligned.
*Manage stakeholders across the internal business and supply chain to ensure good information flows and positive support for the programme.
*Deliver all required project "products" throughout the project life cycle in accordance with the project management methodology.
*Support Operational teams to ensure Operations and Maintenance readiness is competed at the point of handover, including training and handover of material and equipment
