Operational Coherence (Maritime, Land and Air)

Background
Our Central Government Client is currently recruiting for 3 contractors for 7 month contracts based in Corsham:
1. Maritime Operational Coherence
2. Operational Coherence (Air)
3. Operational Coherence (Land)

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
In accordance with the ISS Network Technical Authority (NTA) Process Model the Delivery Function is responsible for ensuring that all new, upgraded or incremental capabilities in the C4 Domain, that are to be delivered and change or utilise the Network are developed, assessed, assured and released onto the Network, with appropriate caveats, in a regulated manner.

1. The Maritime Operational Coherence is responsible for delivering the NTA Delivery Function in the Maritime Deployed Environment including Above Water, Underwater, Maritime Aviation and Littoral Manoeuvre. In addition, as the sole Naval Post in the NTA Delivery Space he/she is responsible for providing specialist Military input, including advice and guidance across the Joint and Maritime domains, to the whole Delivery Function for both the Deployed and Fixed Environments. These functions require the post holder to assist in the development of a range of Departmental Network Assurance Policies and manage a series of Projects to deliver the required Strategic effect.

2. The Operational Coherence (Air) is responsible for delivering the NTA Coherence Function in the Air Deployed Environment. In addition he/she is responsible for providing specialist Military input, including advice and guidance across the Joint and Air domains, to the whole Coherence Function for both the Deployed and Fixed Environments. These functions require the post holder to assist in the development of a range of Departmental Network Assurance Policies and guide and assure a series of Projects and Programmes to deliver the required Strategic effect.

3. The SO2 Operational Coherence (Land) is responsible for conveying the NTA Coherence function in the Land Contemporary Operating Environment (COE). In addition, as an Army Post in the NTA Delivery Space the incumbent is responsible for providing military context, including specialist advice and guidance across the Joint and Land domains, to the whole Coherence Functional area for both the deployed and fixed environments. These responsibilities require the post holder to assist in the development of a range of Defence Network Assurance Policies and also to shape and influence concurrent projects/programmes to deliver the required holistic effect.

Outputs/Deliverables to be achieved:
You should have recent Operational Experience in the deployment and operation of C4 Systems at the Tactical, Operational and Strategic Levels of Command. The post requires a strong technical background in Communications and Information Systems. Success within the post is Dependent on having a pragmatic, flexible and when required robust approach whilst establishing and maintaining close liaison with stakeholder groups and the senior level. You will be required to ensure compliance to JSP604 (network joining rules)
