OPERATIONAL BUYER

Experis IT Switzerland is urgently looking for a Head of Corporate Communications Manager to join one of their clients in Zurich, a globally renowned Pharmaceutical organization with a fantastic brand! For this role we are looking for a candidate ideally with experience in a similar role to start ASAP who can speak fluent English, if you speak German this would be a big advantage!

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Management of low/mid-level RFPs, spot buys, e-auctions: Commercial negotiations, review of proposals, rate comparison/benchmarking
* Zurich Pipeline: Admin support, consolidating data and management of small volume projects
* Due Diligence: Support Business with questions around DD process, arrange for trainings with DD team if needed.
* ARIBA Contracts: Support with contract upload and contract review/approvals
* Payment term queries: Management of payment terms exceptions to 90 days standard, whether exceptions for 1 payment only or adjustment of whole vendor profile.
* Policy exceptions: Support admin process around policy exceptions
* PO Compliance: Drive activities to improve CH PO Compliance rate
* Understanding end user requirements as received directly or via the Local Procurement Partner
* Collaborate on a day-to-day basis with the Transactional Procurement team to ensure that the Transactional component of the procurement process is delivered, that handovers between process steps are effective and efficient.
* Translate requirements of business requestor to Procurement activities, providing appropriate challenges to demand or specification where relevant
* Support implementation of new processes and technologies under guidance from Procurement Lead.
* Perform various administrative tasks and any other relevant task per request and participate in authorized on and off-site meetings and group activities

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

* Good communication skills and demonstrated understanding of how to translate business requirements into Procurement operations or specifications with best value and customer service in mind
* Excellent people skills (emphatic, calm, listening, interacting, proactive)
* Degree level educated, with business related degree preferable
* Business level fluency in English, knowledge of German an advantage
* 2+ years operational procurement experience with experience in basic contracting, eSourcing and spot buying
* Experience or understanding in supporting cost reduction and value improvement programs
* Proficiency in basic MS Office© software and other business systems (Ariba, Emptoris, SAP etc.)
* Pharmaceutical Industry experience preferred
* Experience with enterprise systems and procure to pay tools and eSourcing tools such as Ariba, Emptoris, SAP or Purchase Order technology is preferred
