Operating ROOM RN; EMR Travel Nurse; Nationwide

Planet Healthcare is seeking Surgical RNs with nursing knowledge and strong working experience in the operating room. We hope you will consider a new career opportunity that can provide long-term stability, advancement, and mobility in your surgical field.
Our company has partnered with a healthcare software company that will be implementing its perioperative software applications to numerous clients over the next two years that are primarily operating room environments inside acute-care hospitals They are seeking experienced OR nurses that are interested in working with the hospital clients to implement and deploy the new software. In addition, the position will train the internal surgical nursing staff on the software application.
This position is full-time and pays an hourly rate of $45-$65/hr, plus travel and lodging fully paid for. The job also is ideal for nurses accustomed to travel or have strong interest in working at different hospital assignments across the Southeastern States over the next three years. Please note that the job does not entail any direct patient care.
Primary Responsibilities
· Responsible for successfully implementing clinical applications that will first be trained to the employee
· Prepares Customer focused agendas and instruction to ensure successful knowledge transfer to our Customers
· Assesses and analyzes current department operating room workflows.
· Provides guidance and collects Customer data required for module build/setup activities.
· Develops training plans with the Project Manager
· Provides advice on best practices and training to Customers (onsite, remote, and at corporate offices)
· Coordinates Go Live and Cutover process in discipline area with the Project Manager
Requirements
· Must be willing to travel up to 90%
· Must have an RN license with experience in Surgery/OR, ED, PACU.
· Demonstrated software instruction skills or have strong EMR software experience.
· Ability to think logically for interpreting, analyzing, and discussing end user needs to evaluate appropriate options and identify solutions
· Ability to work and communicate with clients, third party system vendors and other departments in an effective and positive manner
