Operating Model Business Analyst - SOX - Finance Regulatory - London

ROLE - Operating Model Business Analyst - SOX - Finance Regulatory - London - £550/day

Our client, a leading UK retail bank require the services of a operating Model Business Analyst.

Essential experience:

- SOX, RCA or Finance control framework
- A Treasury, ALM, Liquidity or Finance Regulatory background (eg BASEL3 or similar).
- The person needs a minimum 5 years experience and should be Degree qualified.
- Accounting or IT controls experience is an advantage

Requirement:

- A good all round Business Analyst with excellent target operating model experience specifically within Treasury management and regulatory reporting environment.
- The successful candidates will take key roles in defining the current and target process flows and the primary control points for a Group wide implementation of an Asset & Liability Management system.

Applicants will need to be flexible but key aspects of the role will include:

- Document/lead documentation of requirements for new Target Operating Model
- Define current state business processes
- Attending and documenting workshops with the business and Subject Matter Experts
- Assisting in validating the Target Operating Model including target state process/workflow models, control framework, roles and responsibilities and relevant requirements
- Document support model and SLA's

Key Skills & Accountability:

- Must have previous experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services
- Analysis of current state models
- Identification of current state issues
- Definition of Target Operating Models
- Definition of roadmaps for Target Operating Model implementation
- Communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to operate effectively within deadlines and budgets
- Exposure to ALM or Liquidity projects will be a distinct advantage especially using QRM or Bancware systems.
- Competent in Microsoft products - especially Visio, PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Sox controls
