ABOUT THE POSITION

GTN Technical Staffing is searching for OpenStack Architects for a long-term contract opportunity in Mountain View, CA. This position will define, design, and implement OpenStack Architecture for a client of ours. You will work with a team of engineers to design and support the implementation and infrastructure once the implementation is complete. We are looking for strong resources with tactical, strategic vision to drive the architecture implementation to completion.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in the following skill sets

- OpenStack Open Source Cloud Computing Software - Design/Architecture/Implementation/Support
- Cloud APIs - Amazon EC2/Deltacloud/vCloud, etc.
- Product Integration Design into Infrastrucrue as a Service (IaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) Services
- Software Development - Python
- Excellent English - Written/Verbal

PREFERRED

- RESTful API - Design/Development/Implementation/Support
- Agile Development
- MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Linux and Windows Servers - Administration/Management
- SCM Skills (Git, Crucible, etc.)
- Virtualization Technologies - VMware/Hyper-V
- AMQP Queueing Systems - Qpid/RabbitMQ
- Deployment Automation Tools - Puppet/Chef
- Data Storage/Replication
- Network Switching/Routing
