OPENROAD DEVELOPER- WINDOWS 7, INGRES, REPORTWRITER- ESSEX

An exciting contract opportunity has arisen with one of our clients based in Southend-on-Sea. Looking for a highly skilled OPENROAD DEVELOPER for an initial 3 month contract. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE STRONG OPENROAD 4.0/4.1- INGRES - REPORTWRITER.

The OpenRoad Developer will be required to SUPPORT A WINDOWS 7 PROJECT- being involved in the design changes to the IT systems. You will manage SOURCE CODE RELEASES as well as use appropriate tools to manage/track tasks. The OpenRoad Developer to investigate and FIX SOFTWARE FAULTS AND BUGS including assisting in providing development timescales and estimates. You will assist in providing technical feedback on business requirements.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF OPEN ROAD 4.0/4.1 IN A INGRES ENVIRONMENT (INCLUDING REPORTWRITER)

OTHER KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

Ingres ESQL C Programming in a Unix environment Shellscripting in a Unix Environment Attachmate Micros SunOS 5.0 Cron FTP Systems Analysis Must be able to follow in-house development procedures Must be able to interpret design documentation Desirable knowledge: Environment Infrastructure requirements for OpenROAD applications. ICL Mainframe Knowledge of Payments via VOCA
