Open Text Content Server/Livelink Administrator
Location: Luxembourg
Our client is looking for an Open Text Content Server/Livelink Administator to work for a prestigious company in Luxembourg.
This is a rolling yearly contract- the project is due to last several years.
Tasks & Responsibilities of the Open Text/Livelink role:
*System Monitoring of Admin, Archive, Front End and Remote Servers
*Monitor the System Object Volume on Servers for errors, stopped processes, etc.
*Monitor the Enterprise Extractor Process on Servers for errors, stopped processes, etc.
*Monitor the Document Conversion Process on Servers for errors, stopped processes, etc.
*Monitor the Update Distributor Process on Servers for errors, stopped processes, etc.
*Monitor the Interchange Pool on Admin Server for errors, stopped processes, etc.
*Receive and monitor for system error notifications and control rules
*Monitor for required application services
*Troubleshooting of Admin, Archive, Web and Remote Servers
*Troubleshoot Extractor, Interchange Pool, Document Conversion, and Update Distributor processes (data flow hierarchy on Admin Server) for cause of user reported errors or issues
*Resynchronization of Servers
*Create FAQ/issue resolution suggestions for commonly encountered issues to be shared and owned with Business System Administrators
*Escalation of issues to appropriate fixer team (Hosted Systems Managers, Team Resources and/or Open Text production support)
*Index support
*Troubleshooting and resolving index errors (using Data Flow Manager) to suspend, resume, flush, test, and resynchronize the index
*Re-indexing: verify index, re-export index, purge data flow & reconstruct index, back up
*At least 5 years of experience with OpenText;
*AT least 3 years of experience in Open Text EC 10.X, Open Text Archive Server, Open Text Remote Cache Systems Administrator;
*of software development and configuration experience with strong hands-on skills, solid understanding of architecture and design patterns;
*Extensive experience with OpenText products;
*Experience in the following OpenText modules:
-CLM package
-Enterprise Connect, WebDAV
-AGA
-Records management/Physical Objects/Security Clearance
-Classifications, Search
-E-sign, E-link
-Webforms
-Integration to scanning solutions
-Document management
*Experience with almost all of the following solutions is required:
-Content Server 10 Administration
-Windows 2008/2012
-Oracle
-Webservers, preferably IIS 7 and Apache
-LDAP and SSO
-PowerShell
-OScript, Livelink SDK and API, Content Server customizations
-Subversion
-Content Server database structure
-HTML, JavaScript
-Java
-Document migrations to/from Content Server
*Excellent language skills in English, both written and spoken. French will be a plus.
