OOH Operational Support Manager

My client is a healthcare provider specialising in the provision of wide ranging services including community based services such as walk-in centres, urgent care centres and out of hours GP services to individuals throughout the UK.

They have a really interesting opportunity for an experienced Operations and Service Manager to help run and develop a large GP out of hours - OOH service from an operational and workforce perspective. The successful candidate will need experience of operationally running and managing an OOH service.

The successful candidate must have service or operational experience gained either within the NHS or ideally with independent healthcare providers and the NHS. An understanding of OOH and more broadly urgent care services is essential and you must be a strong internal and external relationship builder. In addition to the above it is important for this person be aware of how to re-design services to meet future demand and the roll-out of 111 services.

The assignment will run for 3 months and requires and immediate start.
