ONSITE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT - CAPITA WORKING FOR ESSEX
LOCATION: CHELMSFORD
PERMANENT, 6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT
SALARY: UP TO £19K + QUARTERLY PERFORMANCE RELATED BONUS
START DATE: ASAP

Working for Essex manages the recruitment of temporary and permanent staff into Essex County Council. A Recruitment Consultant is required to join our onsite recruitment team to cover a busy temporary desk which includes covering shift work and recruitment to children's residential homes.

Job duties will involve:
* Advertising vacancies on various websites using our recruitment software
* Forging a good working relationship with our supply chain
* Regular liaison with hiring managers in regards to their requirements
* Arranging interviews and updating hiring managers as to when/where these will take place
* Processing offers of employment and issuing contracts
* Regular liaison with our compliance department to ensure candidates are compliant to start work
* Take ownership of a large recruitment project that will involve bulk registrations/employment of candidates
* Working quickly and pro-actively to ensure last minute shifts are covered
* Working with the onboarding team to ensure candidates have timesheets readily available on their first day of work

You may have a recruitment or generalist HR background, or you may have experience recruiting into children's residential homes - either way, we'd love to hear from you. You will be very pro-active, enthusiastic and able to work on high volumes of work to ensure this busy temps desk is covered efficiently.
