Onshore Wind Farm Project Manager - 18 Months +, Edinburgh

Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for a number of experienced Project Managers for our Wind Turbine client based in Edinburgh.

They have a big project pipeline over the next two years and so need to increase the project management team for a minimum of 18 months and probably the full 2 years in order to fulfil the construction of these new wind farms.

You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and on budget delivery of Wind Farm projects with budgets up to £30Million. These projects will be construction of new Wind Farms and extensions to existing Wind Farms.

You will be primarily office based in Edinburgh but may occasionally be required to travel around the UK for site visits and also potentially some short trips to Europe.

You role will involve management of the full project life cycle from sales to service handover. You will also have responsibility for selecting and managing subcontractors for these projects.

Candidates will need to have an Engineering background and experience managing complex and high value projects. If you have a background in the onshore wind industry this will strongly support your application but my client will be very happy to consider candidates from a construction background as well.
