On behalf of our client, a global brand name and market leader, we offer a fantastic opportunity for a tech-savvy Unix/Linux Administrator within their Online Systems team.

With 2+ years experience of building and supporting medium-to-large RedHat Linux infrastructures you will be responsible for managing a complex infrastructure, delivering highly available production operations.

Technical Environment

- Redhat Enterprise Linux
- Apache, Tomcat, PHP
- MySQL, Oracle
- FTP, DNS, Load Balancing
- Nagios, Cacti
- Shell, Bash, Perl Scripting

KEY TASKS

- Monitor and deliver effective network, application and systems availability and performance
- Undertake root cause analysis of technical problems
- Implement, test and monitor new software, services and systems
- Effect systems changes as per approved change requests
- Ensure system and user security, including data confidentiality
- Research, evaluate and recommend technology innovation and improvements
