Online Merchandiser

We are one of the UKs leading pureplay ecommerce retailers, selling a range of consumer electronics. We have ambitious growth plans and are therefore looking to expand our in-house marketing team.

This role will be responsible for optimising onsite search through analysis of search terms and most relevant landing pages, working collaboratively with marketing and buying teams to deliver the optimum search experience. Additionally, this role will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: product catalog management, online administrative tasks and promotional management.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

- Experience of optimising online search results on ecommerce sites
- Working knowledge of SEO and onsite search, including an understanding of customer behavior
- Working with Google Analytics (or similar) to understand search behavior and drive improvements

OTHER

- Experience of working in a fast paced environment, working to tight deadlines
- Strong organisational skills
- Keen eye for detail

Situated 1 mile from Junction 37 off the M62, we are within commuting range for Selby, Doncaster, Hull, York, Leeds and Sheffield. Howden train station is approximamile from the town square and is served by First TransPennine Express, GNER and Hull Trains ensuring excellent transport links with the rest of the UK.
