Online Marketing Associate

Full time, 18 months fixed term contract

Mio Destino () is an award-winning ecommerce company selling on designer lingerie, swimwear and sleepwear around the world. Established in 2006, Mio Destino is a fast growing and successful Leicester-based company.

Mio Destino is urgently seeking a recent graduate in collaboration with De Montfort University through the Partners in Knowledge Transfer Scheme (PIKT)

THE ROLE:

Your task will be to increase the brand awareness, traffic and revenue of this award winning fashion e-tailer through a series of online marketing activities.

The aim will be to implement an online marketing plan for the company's own brand products. The tools you will use will include search engine optimization, email newsletters, social media, guerrilla marketing, video creation, PPC marketing campaigns and others.

We are specifically looking for someone who can generate creative marketing ideas and then implement their ideas. We would ideally like to attract someone with two years work experience with online marketing but we are open to a recent marketing graduate who is eager to learn and hard working.

THE KEY AIM:

- Build the Mio Destino brand through social media
- Use SEO to increase traffic to the website
- Offer promotions through newsletter campaigns
- Develop and execute guerrilla marketing initiatives
- Develop a series of marketing videos
- Develop a seasonal calendar of promotional activity

CANDIDATE PROFILE: You will have:

- A 2:1 BA degree in digital marketing or a similar discipline (please note: this role is for a recent graduate - you will need a qualification awarded in the last 3 academic years)
- Working experience of running online marketing campaigns
- Proven ability to generate creative content
- Strong writing skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Self- motivation, enthusiasm and a commitment to high standards

THE PROJECT in context:

The project exists to transfer knowledge between De Montfort University and Mio Destino Ltd, where the post will be based. The post-holder will work closely with staff from the School of Design at De Montfort University as well as Mio Destino staff.
