Online Filing/Support Contractors (Linux,Java)

FOR MY CLIENT BASED IN THE HAGUE I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR 3 ONLINE FILING/SUPPORT CONTRACTORS (LINUX/JAVA) FOR A 6 MONTH CONTRACT.

DELIVERABLES

Converting software packages (AMF) to standard SUSE Linux

Adapting localisation settings, testing compliance with system software etc.

Carrying out extensive tests of software packages against their documentation, reporting problems and improving the documentation in the process.

Installing, configuring and deploying the tested packages for client partners. This can apply to new installations or to updates.

Working with the network and Firewall specialists of the client partner to ensure proper integration into the network and accessibility to the client's secure network

Handling 2nd level support questions from client partner administrators, handling incidents, and working out/implementing solutions; analysing problems on local installations

Creating and updating all documentation relating to installation, configuration and use of the software.

Maintaining the clients dedicated website and Wiki's for client partners to allow dissemination of documentation and information and to capture incidents.

Maintaining the build server environment, the repositories and the test/reference environments

Training client partner administrators and technicians either at the client or partner site, preparing trainingmaterials and creating training environments

Assist the project manager in defining migration strategies for when the new Online Filing solution is in place.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Linux, Java, Tomcat, JBoss, PHP, PKI, OpenLDAP, XML/XSLT, ApacheFOP, iText, MySQL,

PHP, Webmin, Internet security (Firewalls, SSL, Smartcards,), RPM deployment, AMF, Scripting

(BASH, Perl)

Good English writing skills for clear communication and for process documentation

MS Office tools and web skills (HTML, PHP)

Customer contact skills

Knowledge of large online filing systems would be a bonus
