FIXED-TERM 2 YEAR CONTRACT

This new role has been created in response to NCVO's new 5-year strategic plan which prioritises connecting and convening people and organisations online and offline in order to: champion volunteering and the voluntary sector; strengthen voluntary organisations; and grow and enhance volunteering.

You will lead NCVO's work on online engagement, establishing a business model which will enable NCVO to increase its online engagement whilst generating income. You will have substantial expertise in online engagement (ie online communities, online events and wikis, with an excellent understanding of what motivates people to contribute and engage online).

With excellent influencing and relationship building skills, you will embed a programme of culture change and skills development, ensuring that NCVO's staff and volunteers can confidently work in new ways.

Combining your up-to-date knowledge of online communities, online collaboration and social media, you will bring significant experience of project management and of managing staff.
