On-Board Power Electronics Engineer/Space/Test Systems

ON-BOARD POWER ELECTRONICS ENGINEER/SPACE/TEST SYSTEMS/£400 - £450 PER DAY

My client is a leading consultancy who is based in central Europe who has just embarked on a 5 year project with a Space Agency based in Hertfordshire. My client is a leading provider of test systems with a key focus on on-board power electronics. They have an urgent requirement for 3 highly qualified and experienced power electronics engineers for on-board activities.

Responsibilities/Duties
On-board power electronics activities:
- Performing systems engineering and verification in space programs
- Definition and maintenance of the electrical system architecture and budgets, harmonisation of electrical functional chains and interfaces
- Definition and maintenance of the power functional chain architecture and equipment requirements

Essential
- Keen interest in on-board Power Electronics components and subsystems
- Ability to develop power electronics for European space missions (Direct experience within the space industry is essential)
- Fluent in English
