Oil & Gas Subject Matter Expert - Trainer - Instructional Designer - MIST - BOSIET

My client has an urgent contract role for an experienced Oil & Gas Subject matter expert to join a new division within a Training/Learning and Development consultancy. The successful Oil & Gas consultant/subject matter expert will need to have a demonstrable background from within the Oil & Gas sector, previous experience of Training delivery/instructional design and ideally have a background in an operational function within upstream Oil & Gas. The successful consultant will support growth of oil & gas training operations in UK, Middle East and other global markets, through market assessment exercises and supporting business development activity. You will be required to support and advise on the development of oil & gas specific training products and services.

Skills and Experience:
*A background of Operational roles in upstream oil & gas
*Previous experience of Training roles in oil & gas technical training, including:
oSafety training, including MIST, BOSIET, offshore survival, etc
oRange of technical upstream disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, production, process
*Preferable:
oPrevious Management position/experience
oTNA/Programme/course development
oInternational exposure
oBid exposure/Pre sales activity

The role will require a degree of flexibility with regards to travel, remote working, travel UK and internationally will be essential.
