Oil and Gas Industry Instructional Designer - Industrial Focus

Our Houston based oil and gas client is looking for a Sr. Instructional Designer to join their team. Candidates must have experience interviewing SME's to determine course components, design and development of elearning courseware within a corporate environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with Four or more years hands-on experience in developing E-learning and classroom training to include 3 or more years of training design, development and delivery experience in a corporate environment.

Excellent verbal, oral, and presentation skills; Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills

Strong ability to organize, plan, manage, execute and evaluate projects

Knowledge of instructional design principles and theories (eg, adult learning theory, organizational development, Kirkpartrick model of evaluation, Bloom's taxonomy, etc.)

Training evaluation and data analysis experience.

Candidates must have experience developing courseware in the following areas:

Electrical, Valves, Compressors, Pipeline, Gas Processing, Reading P&ID's, Turbine Engines, Auxillary Equipment all within an oil and gas field environment. This courseware will be delivered out in the oil fields to employees. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PROVIDE SAMPLES OF THE COURSES YOU'VE DEVELOPED.
