OHL Wood Pole Planners

Experienced overhead lines planner with wood pole experience required to join a large contractor working alongside leading DNO's in order to maintain the OHL networks. For these DNOs, they repair, maintain and construct overhead lines, including working on the poles, lines and transformers associated with LV, 11kV, 33kV and 132kV systems. They are currently responsible for protecting approximately 40,000 km of the UK's electricity network.

At present they require an experienced planner with specific OHL wood pole experience (11-33KV) to work on the UKPN framework projects they have to be based in the East Anglia area. Experienced required:

- Intermediate knowledge of wood pole LV networks
- Electrical safety, quality & continuity (ESQC) regulations
- Projects with leading DNO's eg. UKPN, Scottish Power, SSE etc.
