Offshore Wind Senior Structural Engineer

Currently we are engaged by a multi-disciplinary engineering firm based in Holland who are seeking to add to their Offshore Renewables expertise. This Consultancy client are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a proven track record in OFFSHORE WIND projects. You must be able to demonstrate expertise of Offshore Wind structures, particularly relating to Wind Turbine Foundations.

You must also have an ability to coach/mentor other engineers in a multi-disciplined team in relation to offshore wind specific Structural Engineering. Further enhancing the organisations renewable engineering capability.

THE CHOSEN CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Producing designs at various stages throughout concept, basic and detailed for offshore wind sub-structures. Primarily these will be WTG substructures such as Monopiles, Gravity Base foundations and Transition Pieces.
- Additionally, the above relating to sub-structures and topsides for OSS.
- Perform Design Analysis and Design studies whilst also completing relevant documentation and reports.
- Perform complex analysis and calculations for all relevant stages including load-out, transport, fatigue and verifications for structures.
- Complete Design briefs and specifications as well as liaising with clients and relevant authorities.
- As well as technical expertise you will also be responsible for sharing knowledge and mentoring other engineers within the team.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' practical offshore wind Structural Engineering work experience.
- A proven track record of delivering Structural Design projects for Offshore Wind foundations and sub-structures.
- Technical expertise around Structural Engineering calculations for offshore renewable structures and sub-structures.
- SACS and ANSYS software experience or other similar Analysis/Design software.
- A desire to work in a social and multi-cultural environment.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

- Dutch language skills (verbal and written).
