Offshore Export Cables Package Manager

A Renewable Energy client is looking an Offshore Export Package Manager to work in the north West UK on an offshore wind farm project. The client is looking for an individual to start within 4 weeks for an initial 1 year freelance contract.

Job Description:

The Offshore Export Cables Package Manager will be responsible for providing detailed engineering support for the design, tender process, negotiations, manufacturing, delivery, installation, commissioning and handover to operations of the marine export cabling for their offshore wind farm project.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the identification, co-ordination and management of specialist electrical and logistics resources as required by the project.
Acting as Point of Contract between resource and the Engineering and OFTO/Grid teams
Support of the Engineering and Grid/OFTO teams in QA/QC, budget, resource, time scheduling and HSSE elements of the project
Support the Engineering Manager, Logistic Manager and interface Manager in the co-ordination of all cable interfaces
