Offshore Drilling Engineer (Contract)
A growing independent, international operator is looking for an offshore drilling engineer for a long Term contract opportunity in the North Sea. Working on a rotational basis 2/2 or 3/3. The role is perfect for someone who would like the potential to work as a Night Drilling Supervisor.

- At least 5 years experience in O&G drilling operations, including at least 3 years of active, relevant experience as a Drilling Engineer or Well site Drilling Engineer for reputable O candidates without a valid well control certificate will not be considered.
- Good HSE awareness, appreciation, commitment, knowledge and behaviour - a high standard of HSE compliance and performance is essential.
- Experience with the logistics of working in the North Sea.
- Experience of North Sea operational standards is essential.
- Fluent in English, both oral & written, with good presentation and report writing skills.
- Capable of engineering calculations. Note - this is an engineering support role rather than an operational supervision role, so competency with standard drilling calculations is essential.
- Good inter-personal skills, including communication skills.
- Capable of preparing accurate, thorough, diligent and honest operational reporting, logistical planning & scheduling.
- Capable of supervising contractors and other personnel.
- Must be from the UK, or be in commutable distance.
