Offshore Civil/Structural Engineer

The role is to support the Engineering team with the development on large-scale offshore wind projects,providing engineering design for all civil/structural infrastructure associated with offshore wind farm projects.

Responsible for developing and delivering civil/structural engineering solutions including Offshore substations foundation from feasibility to detailed engineering design for offshore windfarm projects. Responsible for projects of greater value and complexity within the portfolio whilst developing graduate staff within the dept or project team. This will include providing the necessary basic and detailed engineering specifications and designs for projects,innovation,effective technical support,advice,coaching and input through lifecycle of a portfolio of projects.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer
Degree qualified in civil/structural engineering discipline
Significant experience/knowledge supporting development & construction phases of power generation/windfarm civil/structural engineering
Good inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to form effective working relationships with other individuals,departments and businesses.
Ability to implement,apply and promote CDM and Health & Safety best practice in a design environment
Experience in Offshore Civil/Structural Engineering contracts
Experience in Offshore Civil/Structural installation contracts
