Office Based Tool Pusher / Drilling Operations, Aberdeen

I am working with a Global Drilling contractor who is looking for someone to work in their E&P clients offices and operations to be a client representative for Drilling Operations.

We need an Office Based Tool Pusher / Drilling Operations Engineer,for a 6-12 Month contract role in Aberdeen, Monday-Friday with good day rates on offer. I have telephone and face to face interview slots for Friday Morning and Monday afternoon. We are looking for candidates to be able to start in the New Year.

Purpose of the role:

Assist the onshore / offshore rig management to achieve an efficient operation without compromising HSE (Quality Performance) in all drilling- and well Quality Operations.

Daily Duties and responsibilities

Plan operations together with E&P client to find the best way to utilize Assets potential.
Review and comment on the Detailed Drilling Operations . The operator's detailed operations procedures can replace the DDIs if the procedures have equivalent detailing level as the DDOs.
Ensure that all lesson learned are communicated to all parties involved. Ensure Drilling Optimizer offshore saving lesson learned in such a way that this will be taken care of next time one should perform the same operation.
Analyse operation results and follow up nonconformity in summary meetings with onshore / offshore operation management.
Review offshore Drilling Optimizer Quality Performance process among the crew onboard.
Observe any non-compliance, immediately report these to Client and the companies onshore organization.
Perform rig visit, at least every 6 week, to review offshore planning / operation process.

Desirable Skills:

Toolpusher and North Sea Experience
Semi Experience
Polytechnic petroleum college, petroleum technology discipline or other equivalent competence as per OLF guidelines
Previous IWCF/IADC/IWAC or similar well control certificates
