OEIC Fund Accounting Supervisor (Contract)

Leading Investment Manager require an individual to supervise the day-to-day activities of the OEIC Fund Accounting team and ensure compliance with all reporting and regulatory requirements. Please Note: This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Key Responsibilities:

*Production of OEIC reports and accounts, in line with the SORP
*Production and review of daily OEIC reconciliations
*Production and review of monthly OEIC Depositary reconciliations
*Production and review of all other OEIC reporting requirements, such as SDRT and German tax returns.
*Act as liaison with Trustees and Auditors, as required
*Assist with/supervise the oversight of the Liquidity Funds OEIC Financial Statements.
*Assist with/supervise the oversight of the QIF Funds Financial Statements.
*Assist the Life & Pensions teams during the monthly, quarterly, interim and final accounting periods, where OEIC requirements allow.
*Continuous adherence to team procedures, processes, policies and systems and suggestions of ways to make improvements. Assist in the implementation of approved proposals.
*The identification of training needs for all team members and the provision of required training where required
*The completion of performance reviews for all team members, along with regular one to ones and resolution of adhoc issues.
*The development and maintenance of relationships with all internal and external parties in connection with the OEIC Funds.
*Completion of adhoc tasks as requested by OEIC Fund Accounting Manager

Key requirements:

*Qualified Accountant - ACCA, FCCA, CIMA or ACA (preferable).
*Must have OEIC experience, including either completion of accounts and reports or valuations.
*Must have an understanding of the investment industry and investment products.
*Must have previous supervisory experience.
*Strong team player and problem solving ability.
