ODR Project Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for an ODR (Operational Data Readiness) Project Engineer to be based in Washington, Tyne and Wear. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the product knowledge of the particular product when collected from the relevant technical specialist within the business and brought into the ODR team is developed in Teamcenter and all Engineering and Manufacturing aspects are taken into consideration.

This role is an 18 months FTC.

As an ODR (Operational Data Readiness) Project Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:

Ensure the information created through ODR process can be used by the downstream users.

Build Eng BoM and Manufacturing BoM for all relevant products into Teamcenter.

Make sure all forms are filled with relevant metadata - Understanding of Metadata.

Create object, Construct Design View, Manufacturing view and then making it Production readiness in Teamcenter.

The role will be mainly involved entering data in various parts of Teamcenter and then transferring the items to SAP.

Train relevant people to do the above as and when required.

As an ODR (Operational Data Readiness) Project Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

HNC/HND or equivalent - Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.

Engineering and Manufacturing background would be an advantage.

Data management experience.

Product design background would be highly beneficial.

Knowledge of validation of products.

Understanding of design reviews.

SAP and Teamcenter or CAD experience would be ideal

Salary: £28,000
