ODI/ETL/Oracle Expert Consultant

ODI/ETL/ORACLE EXPERT CONSULTANT

ODI/ETL/Oracle expert Consultant is needed for a long-term project based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The position is for a large banking client and we need someone to join quickly. The Oracle ETL consultant will have the following experience:

CORE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 3 years of experience with installing and configuring Oracle Golden Gate or similar tool from other vendor
- Experience with publishing from Oracle Golden Gate (or similar) to Kafka topics is a plus
- Demonstrates general Oracle expertise (11g or higher)
- Datamodelling expertise is a plus
- Is comfortable being part of an agile Dev/OPS team
- Analytical skills proven through either experience or university degree in science/engineering
- Fluent English language skills
- is comfortable doing 2nd & 3rd line support
- Java development skills are a plus

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

- Experienced in with continuous delivery, especially deployment and test automation
- Experience with ETL processes and tools
- Experience with database design,modelling and data analysis on large amounts of data
- Good knowledge of Oracle Database
- Experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage is nice to have
- Experience as developer of multi-tier applications
- Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements (eg Security, High Availability)
- Experience with pair programming
- Understanding of Agile - Scrum methodology is considered a plus
