OCR ANALYST/CONSULTANT - ABBYY FINREADER/ADOBE/OMNIPAGE - wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector. This is a long term contract opportunity for an OCR Consultant to define and evaluate various vendors for a global project.
Your experience/skills:
- Vendor evaluation/management
- Understanding user requirements
- OCR know how (ABBYY FineReader, Kofax, Adobe PDF, Omnipage etc)
- Strong administrative skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Collaborating with the project team to review and complete the requirements document
- Preparing the sample documents from each customer and identifying their "ground truth"
- Defining vendor/product evaluation criteria
- RFI (vendor selection, administrative process, vendor communication) and result evaluation
- Implementing/integrating products (dependent on the product assessments and chosen solution)
