Job Role:

ELG FZE on behalf of FrontierMEDEX are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced health care professionals who have an interest in occupational health and hygiene to support to site personnel working for a renowned oil and gas company operating in North Sea.

Duties may include:

•Monitor compliance with HSSE Control Framework requirements for health management
•Support maintenance of HRA and EDM programmes
•Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Focal Point
•Manual Handling monitoring of training
•Maintain First Aid Room and Equipment throughout the site location
•Provide support at offshore locations as required
•Assist with the maintenance of the occupational health plan
•Work closely with the HSE Advisor to maintain a consistent HSSE management approach

Experience/Qualifications:
•Offshore experience with a HSSE function and a healthcare background would be advantageous for this role
•OPITO Approved BOSEIT and HUET
•Basic knowledge of the Occupational Health and Hygiene principles
•Basic knowledge of health and safety legislation
•The management of Asbestos training would be beneficial, not mandatory
•COSHH Assessors course beneficial, not mandatory
•Noise Management Training is advantageous
•Manual handling training
•Computer literate in MS Office packages
