Occupational Health & Safety Advisor

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISOR with NEBOSH DIPLOMA required for INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT with PUBLIC SECTOR ORGANISATION in GLASGOW.

You will provide professional Health and Safety advice to the company's management and staff, and will be responsible for the on-going delivery of their Health and Safety Management System.

Main duties will include:

- Monitor Health and Safety legislation and Corporate Liability
- Maintain, review and develop Health and Safety documentation
- Monitor accident reporting and investigation
- Audit and review control systems
- Facilitate meetings and communication between stakeholder groups
- Manage and deliver Health and Safety training
- Monitor the provision of Personal Protective Equipment

Essential Skills

- Must have a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent)
- Experience of acting as a health and safety advisor
- Experience maintaining a health and safety management system.
