Occupational Health Registered Nurse Job

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH REGISTERED NURSE NEEDED for a CONTRACT (THREE TO FIVE DAYS PER WEEK) opportunity with Yoh's client located in Amarillo, Texas.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Promote the health and wellbeing of employees at this site. Working closely with facility leaders, disability case managers, workers compensation adjustors, outside health care providers, human resource and safety professionals.
- Lead and supports safety initiatives and processes. Develop a personal safety action plan.
- Wellness and Health promotion. Coaches and counsels employees and site leadership on health issues, prevention strategies, early detection and intervention, risk reduction, disease management and benefits utilization
- Makes appropriate referrals
- Coordinates occupational health surveillance of workers including but not limited to respiratory protection and hearing conservation program
- Process medical forms and requests
- Manage the on-site medical facility complying with all federal and state regulations

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum: RN, Associates, BSN, or Masters
- Licensure as a registered nurse in state of practice, in good standing
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN)-PLUS
- Minimum three plus (3+) years occupational health experience
- Computer skills, including MS Office and EMR
