Occupational Health - Registered Nurse Job

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH - REGISTERED NURSE (RN) needed for a ONE (1) YEAR CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Clearwater, FL.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Assess, plan and deliver First Aid care to all employees in a timely fashion, with a focus on the prevention of escalation to OSHA recordable incidents.
- Candidate will be sole health care provider on-site, and be an essential part of the Environment, Health & Safety team.
- Travel as needed to assess employees. Emergency bag should be well stocked, maintained and available.
- Willing to travel overnight to support assigned Zone or Emergency Deployments:
- Support storm efforts for deployment, phone or as deemed necessary.
- Provide first aid support for Generation outages.
- Provide medical support for other special events, trainings, etc. o Participate in training, meetings, etc.
- Support employees on non-work related medical issues as needed.
- Integrity in time management and recording.
- Maintain clinical setting (office/examining room) cultivating a clean, safe and professional work environment
- Maintain current inventory
- Wellness Programs (Presentations)
- Model good safety and health behaviors
- Immunization injections
- May be required to be on-call to support 24/7 nature of utility
- Establish healthy working relationships with employees/supervisors. Attend and participate in Safety Meetings on a rotating basis throughout areas of support
- Perform field observations with supervisors/safety specialists in order to understand injuries associated with job descriptions.
- Clinical Liaison
- Develop strategic partnerships with select clinics to support effective injury case management
- Interface with clinics when referring out employees
- Helping coordinate Health Testing
- Support office ergonomics program

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Registered Nurse (RN) Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Maintain a Nursing license in good standing in state of deployment.
- Current certifications in First Aid and CPR.
- Strong clinical, assessment and critical thinking skills, particularly related to First Aid evaluation and treatment (hospital experience preferred).
- Effective case management skills.
- Experience in maintaining clinical records in compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations including Quality Standards of nursing practices.
- Ability to learn and understand OSHA recordkeeping requirements.
- Demonstrate ability to work autonomously in timely completion of goals, including acute treatment and follow up.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Comfortable with speaking, teaching and writing communications related to Health & Safety.
- Proficiency in computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).

- RN- Licensed with State of PA
- CPR Certified
