Occupational Health Registered Nurse 3-8 Weeks Job

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH REGISTERED NURSE (RN) needed for a FULL TIME (40 HOURSCONTRACT opportunity to cover a medical leave with Yoh's client located in San Diego,CA

THE BIG PICTURE:

- Our client is seeking an RN with strong clinical skills, good communication skills and strong disre to learn Occupational health for a SHORT term contract at a Manufacturing Company. MUST have at least 4 years experience as an RN

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provides on-site treatment of occupational injuries following protoco
- Assists with development and placement of employees in modified duty positions
- Maintains separate employee medical records
- Case manages ongoing Worker Compensation cases on behalf of the company
- Prepares activity reports and statistical summaries
- medical surveillance
- Services as a Health Promotion consultant

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- First aid and wellness experience
- Strong clinical skills required with at least 4 years of Nursing experience as an RN
- Prior Workers comp and Disability experience
- Must be computer literate
- Prefer certification in Occupational Health Nursing or experience in field
- Knowledge of case management, Workers' Compensation, and government regulations appropriate to the company settin
- CAOHC (Audiometric) Certified
- Certified in DOT Drug and Alcohol testing
- First Aid, CPR and AED certified
- NIOSH certified in Pulmonary Function testing
