Job Title: Occupational Health Practice Nurse

Location: Ponteland, Newcastle

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Serco Health are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Practice Nurse. The OHPN is a key clinical role within the OH Team, responsible for supporting the Lead/Senior OHA by delivering the clinical nursing elements of the occupational health case management and health surveillance programme across the Northumbria Police contract. Working within a multi-disciplinary department, and acting as Northumbria Police representative externally and as Serco`s ambassador internally: the development of excellent stakeholder relationships and the engagement of Northumbria Police Human Resources and the on-site Serco OH team are fundamental to the success of this role. The key focus of the role is supporting the Lead/Senior OHA/FMA/Service Delivery Manager in delivering the clinical OH agenda and developing, coaching and mentoring the on-site OH teams to deliver a pro-active OH service.

Essential Skills & Experience

* Graduate/Registered Nurse preferably with an Occupational Health qualification

* OH experience within an occupational health / primary healthcare contract environment

* Strong communication skills (both written and oral)

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Own transport
