Occupational Health Nurse Job

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Concord, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Occupational Health Nursing Experience
- Previous experience in Manufacturing Facility

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for the development and administration of efficient and professional operations of occupational health services in accordance with company policies, practices, and procedures
- Assure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations
- Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional manner within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines
- Manage all cases to facilitate productivity, assuring appropriate care and return to work - includes workers' compensation, short- and long-term disability cases
- Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Current California RN License
- Previous Occupational Health or Workers Comp experience
- Previous experience working in a Manufacturing Facility
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Disability Management, Management of Work Related Injury/Illness Claims, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Health Education/Wellness Programs and Medical Provider Management
- Excellent Computer and Microsoft Office Application Skills

- COHN or COHN-S is preferred
- Bachelors Degree highly preferred
