Occupational Health Nurse Job

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Memphis, TN.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Occupational/Employee Health experience
- Strong knowledge of workers comp guidelines

What You'll Be Doing:
- Treatment of work-related injury and illness and assist in administration of case management for prolonged or complex illnesses/injuries
- Perform medical screenings such as drug and alcohol, vision, blood pressure, audiograms, respirator and pulmonary function tests
- Communicate with employees, line management and health care providers on health and fitness-for-duty issues
- Implement wellness and prevention programs in conjunction with Occupational Health, Safety, and Human Resources
- Assist in preparing patients for off-site transport during medical emergencies

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Active Tennessee RN license
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience in occupational health nursing, preferably in a manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of substance abuse, workers' comp, OSHA, disability case management
- Experience & ability to manage emergency care situations
- Ability and willingness to be on call
