Occupational Health Nurse Job

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Occupational/Employee Health experience
- Strong knowledge of workers compensation guidelines

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide nursing treatment of work-related injury and illness
- Assist in administration of case management for prolonged or complex illnesses/injuries
- Maintain medical records in accordance with established guidelines
- Perform medical screenings such as drug and alcohol, vision, blood pressure, audiograms, respirator and pulmonary function tests
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate guidelines
- Communicate with employees, line management and health care providers on health and fitness-for-duty issues
- Implement wellness and prevention programs

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Active Missouri RN license
- Previous experience in Occupational or Employee Health
- Previous experience in Workers Comp Case Management
- Thorough understanding of STD/LTD guidelines
