Occupational Health Adviser

TXM Healthcare are currently working with a leading energy provider in helping top appoint a Occupational Health Adviser for a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, this role will be based in the Midlands.

Being an Occupational Health Advisor for this company isn't just about managing day-to-day needs. With them, you'll not only help to drive there overall health strategy, the work you do will have a real impact on the lives of everyone who works for us. Managing a team of dedicated occupational health advisors, you'll promote healthy working practices and create a benchmarking system that will allow you to keep high-level stakeholders up to speed with the all the latest developments in the field. It's a great opportunity to keep building your management skills and manage an award-winning team that's proud of its contribution, but never rests on its laurels.

You'll be instrumental in making there referral and triage processes as good as they can possibly be, and we'll also look to you to manage the delivery of health monitoring and fitness for work assessments across the UK. You'll create a schedule to make sure our medical equipment is always well-maintained and properly calibrated, as well as making sure our clinical records follow all requirements to the letter. What's more, we'll count on you to maintain the clinical skills of the occupational health team and promote their continued professional development.

Duties/Experience

•Specialist Occupational Health qualification.
•Registered General Nursing Qualification.
•Demonstrable experience within the Health Sector and/or a commercial organisation (preferably a matrix structure).
•Breakthrough Thinking: can demonstrate the ability to make sense about problems, issues and opportunities and can approach issue from different ways before making a decision.
•Commercial Acumen; can demonstrates the ability to view situations from a commercial or business perspective, and the mobilisation of resources that turns the strategy into clear implementation plans that deliver value.
•Influencing & Persuading: can demonstrate a persuasive communication style (written, verbal and presentational), delivering clear and concise messages to win support and 'buy in' for ideas.
•Stakeholder Engagement: can demonstrate a collaborative approach within and across company units to optimize business results by working effectively with key (senior) stakeholders.
•Experience in both case management & Health Surveillance.
