Obstetric/Gynaecological Sonographer - East London

Our client has a vacancy for an Obstetric/Gynaecological Sonographer to work based in East London. This is a full-time position with an immediate start. The pay rate for this role is 40 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties-
- Providing a high standard of Obstetric and Gynaecological and General scans.
- Displaying evidence of good anatomical, physiological and pathological knowledge to assist in the clinical justification of ultrasound referrals in line with both national regulations and local protocols.
- Reviewing images and ensuring that supplementary imaging procedures/views are considered prior to patient departure from the Department.
- Acquiring diagnostic images and physically position the full range of patient presentations accurately for examinations taking into account patient limitations and adapting standard techniques where necessary (presentations include distressed children, unconscious multiple trauma patients and uncooperative patients).

Requirements -
You must have a relevant qualification in Radiography and also have post graduate qualifications within Ultrasound. Applicants must also be professionally registered in the area you wish to work and be eligible to work in the UK. Candidates applying to work in England must hold a HCPC registration. You must have a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience within a similar role.
