I am currently seeking and Obsolescence Manager to work with my client based in Belgium, some key information regarding the position is as follows:
Rate: Circa €500 per day
Location: Liege, Belgium
Duration: 6 months+
The Client
My client is a well established and recognised Defence company specialising in the provision, and in service support of turret weapon systems for land vehicles in the Defence industry.
Due to a period of rapid growth, they are seeking an obsolescence Manager for a minimum contract of 6 months to join their team based in Belgium.
The role
Ideally, they are seeking candidates that can demonstrate skills and experience in the following:
*Previous experience of Obsolescence within the Defence (or similar) domain
*Experience of managing teams
*Ability to develop and maintain the obsolescence strategy and capability
*Provide technical leadership, assistance and direction on obsolescence.
*Assist the head of department in developing and maintaining the core obsolescence management capabilities
*Familiarity with in-service support principles and experience of engineering project design
*Ability to become a recognised subject matter expert in the field of obsolescence management with the Defence market.
