Next Ventures. Are currently exevctuting a search for a skilled Obpm business analyst for an exciting programme in Copnehaegen -or London.

Job description/Overall position description with general areas of responsibility listed:
Business Analyst
Based on-shore Copenhagen or London.
Business travel will be required from either office location to either Copenhagen, if based in London or to London, if based in Copenhagen.

Main activities:

Review as-is processes by identifying current IT systems, capturing process variance and problem statements.
 Gather, analyse and validate data together with the business stakeholders to identify root causes of the problems identified.
 Challenge the Business Process Owners (BPOs) on the business requirements.
 Establish business priorities and develop fit gap analysis with alternative options, risks and costs.
 Test the to-be process concepts with different business scenarios to assist the business stakeholders in concluding on the final solution design.
 Facilitate business requirements gathering and document requirements, ie use cases, mock ups of user interfaces as well as assist the development team in specifying service requests.
 Assist the development and test teams in reviewing, deploying and testing business requirements.
 Assist business stakeholders and the test team in defining test data and creating test cases.

Competencies required

Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
 Strong planning, organization and problem solving skills a must.
 An understanding of Oracle web service/OBPM technologies desirable but not essential.
 An understanding of the business system and underlying business processes (and in particular Operations) desirable but not essential.
