OBIEE TECHNICAL ARCHITECT

Whitehall Resources have an excellent opening for an experience OBIEE Technical Architect.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Working with the architects and designers (functional and technical) to define application and technical requirements for OBIEE. Ensuring that these requirements tie back to the established reporting requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the client's long-term strategy.
- Fully understanding the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments that come with the OBIEE package.
- Reviewing and integrating all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements. Reviewing and integrating the technical architecture requirements for the Development, Test, Acceptance and Production environments. Making recommendations regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security.
- Working with Service Delivery to determine how OBIEE is supported in production, including back-ups, disaster recovery, system performance, and project management.
- Validating the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements.
- Performing hardware sizing and capacity planning as required to support the solution.
- Performing load analysis and sizing/capacity planning as required to support the solution.
- Determining how many environment instances/configurations are needed and can be supported for Development (interfaces and application), Test, Acceptance and Production.
- Defining and setting up the Development and Test instances (folder structure, security, application roles, etc.)

You have in-depth knowledge of OBIEE with experience of multiple OBIEE implementations EXPERIENCE OF USING OBIEE WITH ORACLE FINANCIAL SERVICES ANALYTICAL APPLICATIONS (OFSAA) SUITE IS AN ADVANTAGE.
