Currently we re seeking a candidate to act as a Data Warehouse Analyst for Oracles OBIEE 10 and 11g Oracle Business Intelligence Analytics Applications. Should have experience with full life cycle of Business Intelligence projects.

The candidate will leverage an Oracle OBIEE and OBIA installation on 11G to provide information and data content to business users in Finance, Customer Service and Call Centers. Through custom and pre-built analytics, Corporate Analytics supplies key metrics from Both Oracle and internally built systems that integrate across the internal systems of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work closely with customers, business analysts, and applications developers to turn Corporate Business Systems data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.
- Ensure that the information is named properly and defined consistently across the organization. In addition to providing data that is appropriate and reliable, the information must be easily accessible by the user in an OBIEE environment.
- Consult with customers to use the data within the OBIEE tool, displaying the information in new form and content for the purpose of analysis and exploring options.
- Identify Business Intelligence needs and determine optimum systems requirements to meet those needs.
- Understand business processes at a level of detail that enables them to identify and address critical issues.
- Ensure that all proper questions have been identified and influence the understanding of analytical processes and data needed for business examination and decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with the users to ensure the processes they develop are appropriate for an OBIEE implementation.
- Maintain and improve the reliability and validity of the data through education and data governance.
- Understand how data is turned into information and knowledge and how the knowledge supports and enables key business processes.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the business environment, how best to leverage OBIEE as a tool and an interest in helping the user to have an advocate in using OBIEE analytics as a solution set.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years using Oracles OBIEE 10 and 11g (prefer recent, hands-on 11g experience): Dashboards, Scorecards, etc.
- 3+ years using Oracle Business Intelligence Analytics Applications; experience with Finance, Supply Chain/Order Management, Project Analytics, Procure/Spend, & etc. preferred
- Experience using Oracle BI Publisher (11 preferred)
- Oracle Database Tools/Technologies (prefer Oracle 11)
- 5+ years experience with Data Warehousing, Data Marts, OLAP/OLTP environments
- Knowledge of data models and dimension models required
- Should have experience with full life cycle of Business Intelligence projects
- Must sit in Foster City
