We are looking for OBIEE Solution Architect opportunities based in Zurich, Switzerland. for one of our esteemed IT services client:

OBIEE Solution Architect
Location: Geneva,Switzerland.
Duration: 6 months

Role/Responsibilities:

Provide technical direction and leadership to design and implement enterprise BI, Analytics and performance. management solutions in a complex enterprise environment.

Conduct project planning and work estimates with project manager.

Responsibility for support, enhancements of OBIEE Application

Build thought leadership in the Oracle Business Intelligence stream.

Lead and orchestrate Specialized Business Solutions using OBI.

Develop BI roadmap and strategy suiting organizations of various sizes and industries.

Educate and prepare business towards Business Intelligence initiatives.

Design innovative BI architecture supporting operational, tactical and strategic business needs.

Generate whitepapers, new IPs, re-usable components to improve Top and Bottom line

Manage OBI Pre-sales from the practice perspective

Solution Architecture(L1)

1. Ability to take the functional and non-functional requirements and propose solution that will be able to meet the requirements.

2. Work with the design team to realize the architecture by providing suggestions on design options.

3. Review and validate the design decisions taken by the design teams.

4. Work with client architecture teams in - validate the non-functional requirements -discussing and providing inputs on architecture options

5. Present the architecture and design to necessary stake holders as required.

6. Working experience with at least one common SDLC methods (RUP, Velociq)

DW Data Architecture(L1)

Should have good theoretical understanding of the technology concepts

Should be able to develop technology solutions to meet low and medium complexity project specific business requirements

BI Architecture(L1)

Experience in BI/OLAP framework definition, BI/OLAP Architecture, Evaluation and comparison of tools.

Experience in provide technical guidance and mentor ship in architecting and designing high end BI/OLAP implementations.

Experience in resolving complex technical issues in BI/OLAP Design,architecture & implementation.2years of experience in end-to-end BI/OLAP design & implementation or experimentalist 1 BI/OLAP project end-to-end implementation

BI Analysis and Solution design(L1)

Experience in BI/OLAP framework definition, Architecture, evaluation and comparison of tools.

Experience in preparation of solution framework, white papers and knowledge/competency documents. Interface with BI/OLAP product vendors, customers and technical support groups and represent in various internal and external forums.2years experience in BI/OLAP consulting or experience in Design & Implementation of 2 BI/OLAP development projects."

OBIEE(L2)-BI

Prerequisite Should have worked on Data mining and reporting systems

Should have strong understanding and experience in Decision making systems.

Tool-specific: Should have knowledge of the BI Servers, interactive Servers. Should be expert in publishers module of the Oracle BI.
