LOCATION: Knottingley, West Yorkshire

JOB TITLE: NVQ 2 Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser

SALARY & BENEFITS: 7.22 per hour

WORKING HOURS: Part time

THE COMPANY: Our Client is a well established pharmacy that is based in Knottingley, West Yorkshire. The pharmacy is open 16 hours a day weekdays and 10 hours a day at weekends and offers its services to the town and outlying population (approx 13,000 patients).

THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Dispenser has arisen to join our clients busy and modern pharmacy where you will become an integral part of our clients medical support team.

Key Responsibilities:-

* To prepare and dispense prescriptions to customers

* To maintain an up to date knowledge and understanding of pharmacy issues for the purpose of continuing professional development.

* To ensure the safe and appropriate storage of medicines.

* Deal with any over the counter queries and offer advice to customers/patients

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate must be a qualified Pharmacy Dispenser to at least NVQ level 2 or currently be completing an NVQ level 2. You will need to possess excellent people skills and be used to working within a busy environment.

Key skills and experience essential:-

* Must have at least an NVQ level 2 or currently be completing an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensary

* You should have excellent people skills and work well under pressure
