Nursery Teacher

Capita Education are seeking two Nursery Teachers in Grays, Thurrock to start in January 2014 for a 1 year contract

A successful Primary school in Grays are looking is appoint an Nursery Teacher. This contract is to cover a couple of Maternity leaves.

The school prides itself on having a family feel and the headteacher is dedicated to maintaining the friendly atmosphere and positive working environment. The school benefits from excellent facilities, both indoor and out.

The successful candidate will support the schools working ethos as well as possess strong planning and behaviour management skills.

Main duties will include:

*To establish a purposeful learning environment
*To adhere to a clear framework for classroom discipline and strategies for recognising, encouraging and rewarding good behaviour
*To set challenging teaching and learning objectives which are relevant to all pupils
*To make appropriate use of a range of monitoring and assessment strategies to evaluate pupils progress
*Demonstrate commitment to professional development and learning and development of pupils.

Successful Primary Teachers must have:
* QTS & eligibility to work within the UK
* Promote equal opportunities in the classroom
* Extensive subject knowledge
* Think and plan strategically
* Commitment to learning and development of pupils
* Teach at a consistently good and outstanding level
* Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
* Experienced Primary Teachers and NQTs welcome

As DfE Quality Mark holders, Capita Education requires all primary teachers to have a fully enhanced CRB check, minimum of two references plus a face to face interview.
