Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Job

NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Puyallup, WA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Occupational/Employee Health experience
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide comprehensive occupational and non-occupational medical services
- Perform routine occupational medical examinations, counsel employees on work-related and non-work-related health behavior
- Treatment of work-related illnesses and injuries; provide triage and/or medical treatment of urgent-care-type, minor non-work-related illnesses and injuries
- Provide leadership, direction and coordination of all clinical activities involving professional medical judgment

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Current Washington Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license, with DEA license
- Two years previous experience in Occupational, Emergency, Ortho, Internal Medicine or General Practice
- Knowledge of professional medical practices related to treatment of work-related and non-work-related illness and injuries
- Experience with Worker's Compensation paperwork and regulations
