Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Job

NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Stockton, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide comprehensive medical services in a correctional health setting
- Perform routine medical examinations, counsel patients on subsequent care
- Provide triage and/or medical treatment of urgent-care-type and minor illnesses and injuries
- Provide leadership, direction and coordination of all clinical activities involving professional medical judgment

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Current California Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license, with Furnishing/DEA license
- Current BLS certification
- Two years experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care; previous experience in correctional health highly preferred
