Nurse Practitioner Job

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER (NP) NEEDED FOR A CONTRACT JOB OPPORTUNITY WITH YOH'S CLIENT LOCATED IN DURHAM, NC. THERE WILL BE A PER DIEM SCHEDULE TO FOLLOW FOR THE BEST QUALIFIED CANDIDATES.

WHAT THE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NP WILL BE DOING:

- Provides urgent, episodic care; treating minor illnesses and injuries
- Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess clinical problems and health care needs
- Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures
- Prescribes/recommends drugs or other forms of treatment
- Records physical findings, plan of care, treatment and outcomes in electronic medical records
- What You'll Be Doing:
- Best qualified candidate will be able to work on a small team to manage any injuries shall they arise

WHAT THE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NP NEEDS TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Best qualified candidate will have two to three (2-3) years of experience dealing with fast paced work environment, accurately checking in and entering patient information.
- Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in occupational health, family practice, ambulatory or emergency department
- Must have current state (NC) and federal DEA certification
- CPR Certified
